At MobileMammo NW, we believe that everyone deserves access to life-saving breast cancer screening — no matter where they live, work, or what their circumstances may be. Our outreach efforts are focused on reaching women who face the greatest barriers to care through community partnerships, education, and on-site screening events.

OUR OUTREACH MISSION

Our mission is simple: To reduce breast cancer disparities by bringing state-of-the-art mammography and education directly to the communities that need it most.

Through partnerships with local nonprofits, employers, schools, churches, and public health organizations, we are expanding access to early detection and awareness across the South Sound region.

HOW WE REACH THE COMMUNITY​

🚐 Mobile Mammography Events

We bring screening services to where women already are — workplaces, clinics, community centers, tribal lands, and local events. Each visit is staffed by certified technologists and supported by board-certified radiologists from TRA Medical Imaging.

🩷 Community Education & Awareness

We partner with schools, community organizations, and civic groups to provide educational programs about breast health, early detection, and preventive care — helping individuals understand when and how to get screened.

👩🏽‍⚕️ Equity & Access Initiatives

Through donor support, MobileMammo NW offers free and reduced-cost screenings for uninsured and underinsured women. No one is turned away due to financial hardship.

🏢 Employee Health Events

We collaborate with local employers to host on-site employee wellness days — making it easy for staff to receive a mammogram during the workday. It’s convenient, impactful, and promotes a culture of health within the workplace.
